As the Missouri Legislative Session enters its final weeks, a Lakes Area House Representative says keeping money going to Broadband and Tourism is very important.
During an interview last week on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, 155th State Representative Travis Smith says that the Budget the House has passed includes money for the Tourism Industry to continue to promote and send visitors to the Lakes Region and all of the vacation attractions in the state. Rogers also says continuing to put money into Broadband Access in Rural Areas is important, especially for businesses that want to operate in rural areas like those in the Lakes Region as well as for rural School Districts to provide opportunities for their students.
Rep. Smith also talks about how his District will change next year, including more of Taney County and a portion of southern Stone County as well as parts of Douglass and all of Ozark Counties.
