
While some parts of the Ozarks received less snow than predicted, totals collected for the Lakes Region ended up close to projections.
Totals collected by various sources including the National Weather Service and Ozarks First indicates the Branson area received up to 8 1/2 inches while the Harrison area had reports of around 7 inches of snow.
Areas south of Springfield and north of Harrison received the highest amount of snow according to the totals collected. According to the list compiled by the National Weather Service, Branson was the highest total reported in southwest Missouri.
Most of the totals reported to the Storm Dar Facebook page ranged from 6 to 8 inches with some higher amounts along the Missouri-Arkansas Boarder.
After another frigid day today, temperatures will begin the slow rise on Friday with temperatures just below freezing, then moving through the 40s and 50s over the weekend into the 60s by early next week.
