Social Media Reports the Passing of Shoji Tabuchi

A well known Branson entertainer has reportedly passed away.

Multiple social media post are reporting the passing of Shoji Tabuchi. 

Tabuchi came to the United States from his native Japan and ended up in Branson in the 1980's. HIs fiddle playing was heard on Branson's stages for years, including at his own theater on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. After a fire at his theater in 2017, Tabuchi moved his show for a time to the Clay Cooper Theater them played shows at Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex in 2022.

Tabuchi was inducted into the Fiddlers Hall of Fame in 2020 and was honored by the City of Branson in 2021.
