With the winter storm set to impact large areas of both states, the Governors of Arkansas and Missouri have declared State of Emergencies.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued the proclamation on Monday for the current winter storm which will make resources available to communities as well as make transporting needed equipment and other items to those locations to assist in storm relief easier.
In Missouri, Governor Mike Kehoe had issued a proclamation last week declaring a State of Emergency for the winter storm that impacted parts of the state but placed in effect for future storms hitting the state in February.
