Swofford: Learning Processes Continues to Evolve

Today, the Branson School District joins others that have or will be dismissing classes for the final time this school year.

Superintendent Dr. Brad Swofford stopped by KRZK's "Ozarks Now" to talk about the past year, including the developing of programs like GO-CAPS that give students first hand experience in future career fields as well as the recently completed STEM-Liner Project that sent several students from Branson and other area schools to Houston for a tour of the Johnson Space Center which included a ride to Texas in a C-130 Plan.

Swofford also spoke about the "School Success Ready Network" which is a program that allows educators and students to look at progress made with students during the school year along with the regular MAP Testing annual evaluation.

Swofford talked about the while no new major building projects are taking place, maintenance and upgrade programs continue on existing facilities.

Swofford also talked about the transition of the school from a longtime membership in the Central Ozark Conference into the brand new Ozark Mountain Conference.

The complete interview with Brad Swofford can be found on the Ozarks Now Facebook Page.
