Taneycomo Festival Orchestra Enters 13th Season

The dream of being able to play classical music in her hometown results in an annual festival in the Lakes Region.

The 13th Season of the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra launches next week with a series of concerts over two weeks. Orchestra Creator and Director Larkin Sanders, during a previous interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, said being able to play concerts in the area she grew-up in with a group of musicians from around the country and integrate into an area that hosts live music show has been special.

According to the orchestra's Facebook page, this year's schedule begins with a Children's Concert at First Presbyterian Church Monday morning with other events scheduled at Fellowship at Cross Creek east of Branson as well as the two main concerts Friday the 21st and 28th at the Hollister High School Auditorium.

More information including the full schedule for this year's events can be found on this website's Events Calendar as well as the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra Website.
