Test Flight Causes Sonic Boom

A test flight of a Military Aircraft caused a Sonic Boom heard in the Lakes Region and much of the surrounding Ozarks on Monday.

Multiple Media Outlets report that the test of a Boeing Military Plane was taking place out of St. Louis when the jet exceeded the speed of sound while over the Ozarks late Monday morning causing the boom heard by many people in the region. 

Ozarks First reports a similar Boom was heard in the Mountain Grove area on Sunday with their fire department also confirming the test of the military jet in their region.
