A busy day for the Missouri State Highway Patrol as they work three traffic accidents in the Lakes Region Thursday.
The first two occurred Thursday morning between 8:00 and 9:00 and both involved vehicles leaving the road and striking trees.
One occurred in Stone County on Highway 413 south of Galena which sent 27-year-old Tabatha Keener of Branson Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries while the other occurred in Taney County on Highway MM northeast of Kirbyville which resulted in serious injuries to 31-year-old Charles Westerdale of Branson.
The third crash took place Thursday afternoon in Taney County on Highway 86 west of Ridgedale when a trailer being towed by a truck broke lose and forced a vehicle off the road. A passenger in that vehicle from Kentucky suffered minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson. The driver of the truck, 77-year-old Larry Hall of Theodosia, was not injured in the accident.
Two occurred in the morning, one in Stone County on Highway 413 near Galena and the other in Taney County on Highway MM northeast of Kirbyville where both vehicles ran off the road and struck trees.
A third accident happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 86 near Ridgedale when a trailer being towed by a truck became disconnected and forced another vehicle off the road.
