Two people are in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth facing charges in three incidents that happened Sunday night.

According to the Branson Police Department, Christian Alexander Sneath and Cordilia Pearl Niederhelman, both of Springfield, are being charged with property damage, which includes the attempted stealing of a gas tank from a vehicle at Branson Landing that eventually caught fire when the drill was dropped during the attempt sparking the gasoline. The two were also involved in a similar incident earlier in the evening taking the gas tank from a vehicle in the Cox Medical Center Branson Parking Garage and also are facing charges for property damages that occurred later at Ballparks of America. Niederhelman is also facing Drug Possession Charges according to Court Records.

The fire at the Branson Landing Parking Garage totaled one vehicle and damaged another with Branson Landing Officials telling the Branson Tri-Lakes News that they discovered a possible stress fracture on the structure after the fire with engineers expected to do a safety inspection on the structure later this week. Ballparks of America General Manager Scott Bailes tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News that the damage to one of the fields there, which occurred when the suspect vehicle broke in a drove on the field to avoid authorities causing ruts in the turf, could run $100,000 to $150,000.
