Two People Sustain Serious Injuries in Monday Crashes

Two people sustain serious injuries in a pair of crashes Monday. 

The first crash occurred just after 1:00 on Jasmine Road near the Stone-Lawrence County Line, when a car driven by 30-year-old Aubrey Marcucci of Shell Knob went out of control and eventually struck a tree. 

The second crash occurred east of Mount Branson on Highway 76 when a car pulled out onto the highway and collided with a dump truck injuring the driver of the car, 31-year-old Tyler David of Springfield. 

Both injuries were treated at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
