A pair of School Bus Crashes occur on Highway F just east of Bull Creek Tuesday morning.
Update: The Branson School District released this statement to Ozarks Dynacom Wednesday afternoon:
The vehicles involved in the accidents were two Branson school buses. The first bus had an accident on F Hwy. No students were on board, and the bus driver and bus aide are safe and well but were transported to Cox Hospital Branson as a precautionary measure. The second bus was redirected by law enforcement to turn around, so as to avoid the first bus. The three students that were on the bus are safe and well, and their families were notified. The bus driver and bus aide are also safe and well but were transported to Cox Hospital Branson as a precautionary measure. We are very thankful to the law enforcement and emergency personnel that responded to the situation so quickly.
Original Story
The first occurred around 6:00 when a bus ran off the ride side of the road, overcorrected then when off the left side of the road and overturned. Two adults on the bus suffered minor injuries and were treated at Cox Medical Center Branson.
The second accident occurred later in the morning when another bus, told to turn around due to the first accident, ran off the roadway and struck a ditch. One adult in that bus also sustained minor injuries that were treated at Cox Branson.
The accident caused traffic to be rerouted off of F Highway for several hours Tuesday morning.
