U.S. Army Corps Waiving Certain Fees for Veterans Day

Fees in certain U.S. Army Corps areas to be waived.

Full release is below:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will waive day-use fees for boat launch ramps and swim beaches at its recreation areas nationwide on Monday for Veterans Day, in honor of U.S. military veterans.

The fee waiver is limited to select amenities, covering only boat launch ramps and swim beaches. It does not apply to camping fees, camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities and events.

While the Corps is encouraging other agencies managing recreational sites on USACE lands to offer the waiver, participation is not mandatory.

Visitors are advised to check with specific USACE sites before arrival to confirm that recreation areas are open.
