The National Weather Service has upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for the Lakes Region for the potential of heavy snow.
Forecasters are going for a potential of 5-10 inches of snow with isolated higher of 12 inches.
The Warning begins in northern Arkansas including the Harrison and Eureka Springs areas at Noon Tuesday with the Missouri Lakes Region including the Branson and Kimberling City areas at 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. The Warning goes through Wednesday morning.
The Weather Service expects travel conditions to be impacted for the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning communtes.
