A garden which stands as a public statement by the Branson community to honor and remember the military personnel from all branches of services and from all wars was damaged in an accident in the early hours of Sunday, June 9.
The Veterans Memorial Garden’s retaining wall and flower beds were damaged when a red Ford truck drove off Highway 76 and ended up in the garden beds.
Veterans Memorial Garden Administrator Jana King Evans told Branson Tri-Lakes News she is saddened by the incident.
“We are deeply saddened for whomever was involved in this accident and pray this individual recovers from this tragic accident,” Evans said.
