The National Weather Service has cancelled the Flood Warning that was in effect for the James River in Christian and Stone Counties.
The water along the river has receded down back to below Flood Stage after cresting at around 20 feet on Monday.
Some Flood Advisories are still in effect for parts of Douglas and Ozark Counties but those are scheduled to expire this morning, though MODOT still reports some highways in the region remain closed due to high water including Highway Y west of Ava.
Many areas, including several in northern Arkansas, continue to have low water levels in streams with most of the recent heavy rain bypassing the region into southern Missouri and central Arkansas.
No rain and warmer temperatures are in the forecast for this week.
