Continuing lines of showers are filling the rain gauges around the Lakes Region with a number of Flood Advisories and Warnings now in effect.
UPDATE: A New Flash Flood Warning has been issued for East Central Taney County as well as all of Douglas and Northern Ozark County until 12:15 Saturday Morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Branson area until 11:00 this evening. Southern Stone and Northwestern Taney Counties are the specific areas of concerns with one to three inches of rain having fallen already with another one to two inches possible before the rain moves out.
Another Flash Flood Warning is in effect for western sections of Carroll County including the Eureka Springs area until 8:45. The Weather Service indicates where up to three inches of rain has fallen with another inch or two possible.
Other portions of Stone County as well as Barry County are under Flood Advisories as the southern parts of Ozark County.
Portions of Arkansas are experiencing issues with Fog as a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for areas around Harrison until 10:00 this evening. Boone, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties are among those included in the advisory.
Numerous traffic accidents have been reported in the region according to Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin. He and other emergency officials encourage motorist to take extra precautions if traveling this evening.
