A woman from Louisiana is injured in a accident on Lake Taneycomo.
According to the report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred west of Hollister just after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon when a boat driven by 63-year-old Debra Mitchell turned into waves created by a passing watercraft and carried her boat into some trees where she became trapped.
Mitchell suffered moderate injuries in the incident and was treated at Cox Medical Center Branson.
