Baseball World Series Tournaments

Two Baseball World Series events in the Lakes Region featuring teams from around the world wrap-up in the Lakes Region over the weekend.

At the Cal Ripken Major 70 World Series at Ballparks of American, the Dominican Republic takes the 2024 Title with a 19-0 win over Campbellsville, Kentucky. Earlier, the Dominican team had defeated Korea while Campbellsville had defeated South Lexington, KY in one run games in the International and U.S. Championships. Kennewick, Washington won the Iron Man Bracket Championship.

Meanwhile, the Babe Ruth 13-16 World Series wraps-up at Show-Me Baseball Camp near Branson West with Torrance, California taking the championship with a 6-5 win over Korea in Saturday's title game. Sarasota, Florida took third with a 4-0 win over Puerto Rico.
