The College of the Ozarks loss in the Championship Game of the NCCAA Independent Regional Baseball Tournament does not end their season.
The Bobcats have earned one of the At-Large Spots in the 10 team field for the National Christian Athletic Association Tournament coming up this week in Kansas City. The Bobcats, who have already set a school record for wins with 42 this season, are one of four teams who played in the Independent Regional to earn a spot in the World Series, joining Regional Champion Baptist Bible College along with Dallas Christian and Kansas Christian.
The Double Elimination Tournament begins on Friday with the Bobcats, thanks to the seeding of the tournament, drawing BBC in the first round. The Bobcats lost to the Patriots 4-3 in the Regional Final last week in Point Lookout.
