While many games in Missouri were postponed due to the snow and cold, several contests in the region including a rivalry match-up in Arkansas did take place on Tuesday.
Harrison at Mountain Home
The first meetings of the season between the Bombers and Goblins went the home teams way as the Bombers prevailed in both varsity games. Mountain Home took a 48-26 win in the girls game while the boys contest was back and forth all game long going into overtime before the Bombers prevailed 65-57. The Goblins had opportunities to pull away but the Bombers had the answer all night and forced a 55 all tie at the end of regulation before winning the game on a 10-2 run in overtime. The two schools will meet again in 5A Conference Play on February 6 in Harrison. The Goblins are scheduled to next take the court on Friday at home against Greenwood.
