Branson Athletes Qualify for State Track in Eight Events

Delayed from Saturday due to weather, the Branson Track teams participated in the Class 5 Sectional Monday in Waynesville.

The Pirate and Lady Pirate squads combined to qualify for this weekend's State Track meet in a total of eight events. 

Branson claimed two individual Sectional Champions with Colsen Conway winning the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles and Kyshin Isringhausen  taking the top spot in the Boys Pole Vault. 

Lady Pirate Kayli Essick qualified in three events, taking fourth place in the Girls 100 Meter Dash, Long Jump, and Triple Jump.

Kayli Thomas 4th Girls High Jump
Ty Mcadara 2nd Boys High Jump
Branson 3rd Boys 4 x 400 Meter Relay

The State Track Meet for Class 3, 4, and 5 Schools is this weekend in Jefferson City.
