The Branson Pirate Baseball has a lot of new things for the 2022 including a new surface at Pirate Park and a new person at the helm running the program. The Pirates have celebrated that by winning their first three games of the season.

The Pirates have not only won, but have not allowed an opponent to score yet in their first three games, all played on the new artificial turf at Pirate Park under first-year head coach Kirk Perryman.

The Pirates picked-up two wins on Friday, holding off Parkview 1-0 which included getting out of a bases loaded jam in the final inning while they also got a 15-0 victory over Choteau High School out of Oklahoma.

On Saturday, the Pirates broke open a close game with a seven run fourth inning and cruised to a 10-0 win over Poplar Bluff, their second run rule win in a row.

Carter Jenkins had a strong two days including getting the win on the mound against Parkview on Friday then against Poplar Bluff Saturday, hit a home run and two doubles with four RBI.

The Pirates host Rogersville on Monday before going to Webb City for their first road game of the season.
