In a thrilling regular season non-conference baseball showdown on Tuesday, the College of the Ozarks Bobcats clinched a 6-4 victory over the Mission University Patriots at Coach Bob Smith Field.
The Bobcats showed impressive form early on, taking a decisive lead and managing to maintain it throughout the encounter. Key players such as Charlie Parker and Kyle Beeman each added two crucial runs, while Brody Tyler not only scored once but also hit a dynamic home run, contributing significantly to the team's offense. Trey Riley and Hunter Lewis were instrumental in driving in runs, with Riley securing two RBIs and Lewis added another to his tally.
George Reynolds started on the mound for the Bobcats, delivering a strong pitching performance that kept the Patriots scoreless until the sixth inning. Despite a sudden surge from the Patriots who managed to rack up four runs, the Bobcats' early advantage and consistent scoring proved to be too much for the visiting side.
