The College of the Ozarks continues to make a splash in their return to the NAIA.
The Lady Bobcat Volleyball team qualifies for the NAIA National Championship Tournament after getting a five set victory over Haskell Indian Nation University Saturday in the Continental Conference Tournament in Temple Terrace, Florida.
According to the recap from the conference website, the Lady Bobcats dropped the first game of the championship match 25-19 before winning the next two games by identical 25-16 scores. Haskell grabbed the fourth game 25-20 before the Lady Bobcats pulled out the fifth game 16-14.
Lady Bobcat Mica Chadwell was named the Tournament's Most Valuable Player while teammates Bailey Chamberlain and Bri Linehan were also named to the all tournament team.
The Lady Bobcats will represent the conference in the NAIA National Tournament which gets underway next Saturday at sites to be determined.
