The 2022 Edition of the Cal Ripken Major 70 World Series moves into bracket play.
After four days of pool play at Ballparks of America in Branson, the teams have been split into two brackets with the top teams in each pool playing in the championship tournament while the rest of the field plays in the Iron Bracket.
Highlights include:
Two teams from Hawaii along with teams from Kentucky and Texas win their respective U.S. Pools while a team each from Mexico and Taiwan take the International Pools.
The host Branson team, which won their final game of pool play on Tuesday, will play in the Iron Bracket this afternoon at 2:00 against Midwest Plains of North Dakota.
The other area state teams, the Arkansas State Champions from Paragould and Missouri Champions from Booneville, are also competing in the Iron Bracket.
The tournament will run the rest of the week with the Championship Game set for Saturday.
