District Basketball Wraps in Arkansas, Begins in Missouri

Postseason basketball is getting into full swing on both sides of the state line.

In Arkansas, several District Tournaments wrapped up on Saturday:

1A-1 East at Jasper
Kingston 58 Jasper Girls 55
Jasper 62 Omaha Boys 49

2A-1 at Cotter
Ozark Mountain 61 Cotter 44
Greenland 58 Yellville-Summit 50 OT

2A-2 at Izard County
Mount Vernon-Enola 55 Marshall 29
Marshall 64 Sloan-Hendrix 55

The top four teams in each district moves on to the regional tournaments later this week.

In Missouri, Class 1, 2, and 3 Schools begin district play:

Class 3 Girls at Springfield Catholic
Forsyth vs. Catholic 6:00 (on MOARK Sports)

Class 2 Girls at Crane
Spokane vs. Greenwood 5:00
Crane vs. Galena 6:15
Fordland vs. New Covenant 7:30

Class 1 Girls at School of the Ozarks
Billings vs. Hurley 4:30
S of O vs. Wheaton 5:45
Exeter vs. McAuley Catholic 7:00
