Four Area Golfers Medal at State Tournaments

Four Golfers from the Lakes Region earn Medals in the Missouri State High School Championships.

Golfers who finish in the Top 15 of their respective tournaments earn medals.

Two of those golfers are from Branson as Ben Presley finishes tied for 12th and Andrew Bristow finishes tied for 15th in the Class 4 Tournament at New Bloomfield. Bristow's finish was especially strong after a rough first round as he shoots one over par on the second day, tying for the third lowest round of the day, to get into the top 15. 

Two other area golfers medaled at the Class 3 Tournament in Sedalia. Ty Cooper of Reeds Spring also had a strong second day, shooting even par 70 which was the low round of the day and moved him into 8th place overall. Garrett Snyder of Hollister ends up finishing tied for 15th.
