Friday Basketball: Fair Grove Edges Forsyth, Harrison and Reeds Spring Sweep

A recap of Friday High School Basketball on MOARK Sports.

Fair Grove 68 Forsyth 67
For a series that has had many close games, the Fair Grove Eagles continue to have the number of the Forsyth Panthers, picking up their 24th win in a row in the series hitting a pair of free throws with six seconds left to secure the win. Forsyth trailed by as many as 13 points in the game but rallied and took the lead in the fourth quarter. The two teams exchanged the lead in the final minutes before the Eagles hit the final free throws. The Panthers had one final opportunity but a length of the court pass went out of bounds and the Eagles held on for the win.

Harrison Sweeps Alma
The Goblins and Airedales have played two close games this season with the Goblins coming out victorious in both contests. This time, the Goblins notched the 57-56 win to maintain their lead in the 5A West Conference Standings. In the girls contest, another win for the Lady Goblins over Alma getting a 31-22 win.

Reeds Spring Sweeps Hollister
The Wolves claim a pair of conference wins over the Tigers, winning the Girls Game 57-33 and the Boys Contest of 62-52.

In another contest on Friday, the Branson Pirates picked up an 80-56 win in Boys Basketball action.
