The bonanza of High School Basketball Tournaments for the Holiday Week is underway.
Blue and Gold
The Branson Pirates claim a 45-24 win in their opening round Gold Division Game against Ava Tuesday at Great Southern Bank Arena at Missouri State University. The Pirates will play Ozark in the quarterfinals this afternoon at 12:30 in a game that can be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com.
Other area schools lost their opening round games in the tournament, Reeds Spring to Blue Division Top Seed Nixa 72-19 while tournament host Greenwood defeated Crane 64-40 and Sparta rolled by Spokane in a match-up of former SWCL rivals 61-24.
Reeds Spring faces an elimination game against Lebanon this afternoon at 5:00 which can also be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com. For Crane and Spokane, current members of the SWCL, they will play each other in a Gold Division elimination game at 11:00 am this morning. All three games will be at Hammons Center.
Pink and White
Branson opens play in the annual tournament at Drury University today at 3:30. The 6-2 Lady Pirates will play undefeated Aurora in one of the top match-ups of the day. The game will be at Weiser Gym and can be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com.
Lendel Thomas Classic
The annual event begins Thursday at Harrison High School. All Harrison Games will be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com and 94.9 KHOZ. The schedule of games:

In Consolation Play, Fair Play downs Hurley 41-32, Hollister drops a 64-46 decision to Pierce City, and Spokane knocks off Greenfield 62-28.
