In a match-up of two of the last three Super Bowl winners, the Kansas City Chiefs had the better team Sunday in a 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams at GEHA Field at Arrowhead.
Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce while running back Isiah Pacheco rushed for the Chiefs other touchdowns to go along with four Harrison Butker field goals. While the Rams have many injuries on offense, the Rams defense is still one of the tops in the league and helped their team stay in the game until the second half by stifling the Chiefs proficient red zone offense. The Chiefs defense was more than enough however to keep a Rams offense missing its starting quarterback and top receiver most of the game.
The Chiefs are 9-2 for the season and play the first of three straight road games beginning this Sunday at Cincinnati. The Bengals beat the Chiefs twice last season, including in the AFC Championship Game.
Game broadcast will start at 2:00 Sunday on Legends 1063.
