The Forsyth Lady Panthers traveled to Mansfield Monday for a rematch of their game from the Blue Eye Girls Tournament earlier this season.
The Lady Lions beat the Lady Panthers in that game, and did so again Monday night this time by a score of 61-39. After exchanging the lead during much of the first quarter, the Lady Lions got their shooting going and took advantage of Lady Panther turnovers to extend the lead which continued for the rest of the game.
The game was the final home game for Lady Lions Coach Gary Greene, who is retiring at the end of the season. A special ceremony was held between the JV and the Varsity Game which featured the return of several of his players.
Coming up tonight on MOARK Sports, game coverage will include Nevada at Hollister Boys along with Harrison hosting Greenbrier in a Girls/Boys Doubleheader.
