Missouri High School Sports Season Opens This Week

The opening of the High School Sports Season around Missouri gets underway this coming weekend.

As preseason jamborees wrap-up, Friday is the opening day for not only High School Football but several other sports will get underway as well. 

The area High School Football schedule Friday will include home games for Branson against Joplin and Forsyth against El Dorado Springs with Reeds Spring opening on the road at Monett. The Hollister Tigers will open their football season on Saturday on the road against Cassville. 

Other sports will also be getting underway this weekend. The list is below:

Branson at Springfield Hillcrest (Aurora Tournament)

Spokane at School of the Ozarks
Crane at Bradleyville
Fordland at Hurley

Baseball
Crane vs. Licking at Ozark
Galena, Spokane at Morrisville Tournament

Softball
Branson vs Aurora, Carl Junction, Joplin at Aurora Tournament
Reeds Spring at Halfway Tournament

Volleyball
Branson Tournament (Forsyth, Reeds Spring)
