Monday
Teams will be celebrating Senior Nights over the next three weeks as the basketball seasons wind down in the area. The Forsyth Lady Panthers did that on Monday night and celebrated with a win over Spokane 53-42. Forsyth was led by Zoe White who had 19 points it was also a big night for a Spokane player as Lady Owl Sophomore Lily Carr scored her 1000th Career Point
Meanwhile in Rogersville, the Branson Lady Pirates battled the Lady Wildcats close for most of the game before the home teamed pulled away for a 64-54 win.
Tuesday
Splits for both Harrison and Forsyth in home games. The Goblins won a match-up with Farmington, one of the teams trailing them in 5A West Conference Play. with the Cardinals leading by six at halftime, the Goblins picked up the defense in the third quarter holding Farmington to four point and eventually securing the 48-40 win. It was a tougher night for the Lady Goblins as they dropped their game 81-34.
Meanwhile in Forsyth, the boys celebrated Senior Night by talking their half of the doubleheader against Clever 73-42 with 21 points from Tanner Baird leading the way. In the Girls Game, Forsyth overcame a 24 point deficit to cut the lead to eight in the fourth quarter but the Lady Jays held on for a 53-42 win.
In other action Tuesday night, Rogersville defeats visiting Branson 87-49 in Boys Basketball play.
