MOARK Basketball Week Starts with Branson Girls Loss at Aurora

A full week of games covered online by MOARK Sports begins Monday with a match-up of top area girls teams that was a tale of two halves.

The Branson Lady Pirates traveled to Aurora in a match-up of 9-3 teams that started out as a highly competitive game but turned into a blowout. 

The Lady Pirates led for most of the first half but a Lady Houns run gave them the lead. Late in the second quarter, the score was tied at 21 each. From there until the end of the game, the home team finished on a 45-11 run to roll by the Lady Pirates 66-32. Aurora had a 13 point win over Branson earlier this season in the Joplin Tournament. 

A full slate of games will be featured on MOARK Sports for the rest of the week. The schedule includes:
Tonight: Harrison at Farmington Girls/Boys 6:00/7:30
              Parkview at Branson Boys 7:30
              Blue Eye vs. Bolivar JV at Pleasant Hope Tournament 7:00
Thursday: Fair Grove at Branson Girls 7:30
Friday: Alma at Harrison Girls/Boys 6:00/7:30
            Mansfield at Forsyth Boys 7:30

Other games from the Pleasant Hope Boys and Sparta Girls Tournaments may also be covered this week.
