The featured game on MOARK Sports Thursday night saw a great start for the Forsyth Lady Panthers crumble under the intense pressure of the Skyline Lady Tiger Defense.
The game, in which the visiting Lady Tigers won 62-47, saw the Lady Panthers get off to a terrific start, building an 18 point first half lead. That advantage started to evaporate late in the second quarter when the Skyline man to man defense began to force turnovers which they immediately converted to points. Skyline closed the gap to seven at half, the assumed the lead midway through the third quarter and took advantage of Lady Panther foul trouble to build the lead from there. From the point they were down by 18, Skyline outscored Forsyth 48-15 to close out the game.
Annabelle Barrickman led Forsyth with 12 points with Macy Sanders and Lindsey Essary also in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively. Skyline's Ashlen Garrett scored 37 points, many off steals, to lead all scorers.
Tonight on MOARK Sports will see four games in all as the Forsyth Boys will host Fair Grove, the Reed Springs will travel to Aurora, and the Harrison Girls and Boys will host Greenwood.
