Two games feature on MOARK Sports this resulted in losses for area teams but in different fashions.
On Monday, what has been a good season for the Harrison Goblins took a bit of a detour as the Russellville Cyclones lived up to their name coming into Harrison and blowing by the Goblins 12-1. For Harrison, it was their first loss in 5A West Conference play however, they quickly avenged it as the Goblins travel to Russellville on Tuesday for a 3-1 win.
In the other game featured on MOARK Sports, two Missouri rivals hooked up for a marathon game that went 14 innings but only resulted in one run. Fair Grove played at Forsyth and the game was not one, but two pitching duals as each starter went seven innings, then their relief pitching also held the opponents down, until the visiting Eagles finally plated a run in the to of the 14th inning, then were able to get the final out in the bottom of the inning when the Panthers managed to get the winning runs in scoring position securing the 1-0 victory.
