Tuesday's Games on MOARK Sports includes a win for Forsyth in the area Class 3 District Showdown with Strafford.
The Panthers claimed the Mid-Lakes Conference Baseball Title and the inside track for the number one seed in the upcoming District Tournament with a 4-2 win at Strafford. Tristan Hunter went 6 2/3 innings for the win, being pulled with the bases loaded in the seventh due to pitch count. After reliever Bryce Nolen gave up a walk to cut the lead to two, he induced a fly ball to right caught by Nick Guy to end the game. Offensively, Hunter had an RBI double with Ben Boyer providing the big hit, a two-run double in the fifth inning and later scoring on an error to account for the Forsyth runs.
The Panthers next play on Thursday weather permitting at Mansfield.
