Tuesday High School Basketball in the region saw a sweep for Mountain Home over Harrison.
The two rival schools, in the same conference for this season, had the first of their two regular season meetings in Harrison Tuesday with the Bombers grabbing both games with the Girls winning 57-43 while the Boys take home a 59-54 win.
In the girls contest, the teams stayed close but the Lady Goblins could not keep up and eventually fell behind by double digits in the second half as the Lady Bombers prevailed. Clare Barger led the Lady Goblins with 17 while Brooklyn Mitchell added 16 points for Harrison.
In the boys game, the Bombers led most of the way but the Goblins but on a rally in the second half, closing the gap to one point in the final seconds but the Bombers hit four straight free throws to secure the win. Blake Shrum had 23 points to lead the Goblins.
In other action Tuesday, the Forsyth Panthers remained undefeated rolling by Ava 66-25. Though the Panthers led throughout, they were slow to get going early without Ryder Blevins, who missed the game due to dental surgery. The Panthers used their defense to gain full momentum just before halftime scoring nine points off of four turnovers in the final 30 seconds of the half to lead by 22 and rolled from there. Cooper Voliva led the Panthers with 17 points.
