Nixa Sweeps Titles at Branson Track Meet

Branson High School hosted their annual early season track meet on Thursday.

Nixa swept the team competitions on both the Boys and Girls Side. Camdenton took home second on both sides with Mountain Home taking third in the boys while Ozark took third in girls. For the area schools, Branson finished sixth in the boys competition, fifth in girls, while Reeds Spring and Hollister finished seventh and eighth respectively on the boys side and tied for seventh in the girls competition. 

Individual first place winners from area schools:

Branson
Chris Vineyard Boys 300 Meter Hurdles
Adrian Manderson Boys Triple Jumpp

Hollister
Katherine Schaefer Girls 800 Meter Run, 1600 Meter Run
Sinry Mendoza Boys 400 Meter Dash

Reeds Spring
Kaylee Geniuk Girls Triple Jump
Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay (Addison Abshire, Tracen Cobb James Dowdy Caden Wiest)

Some later events in the meet were cancelled due to the thunderstorms that moved through the region.
