A.J. Sieker of Branson, Missouri, pass from a long battle with cancer on December 17, 2021
He was born November 25, 1944, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of A.J.C. Sieker (Zeke) and Sylence Sieker. A.J. graduated from high school in Midland, Texas, at the Robert E. Lee in 1963. He eventually went on to college at New Mexico Military Institute at Roswell, New Mexico. He then transferred to West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, where he met his wife, Diane Word, whom he was married to for fifty-four wonderful years. A.J. joined the Army and served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. After he toured in Vietnam he finished his service to the United States at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Following his Army service, he moved to Canadian, Texas, where he worked for First National Bank for thirty-five years retiring in January of 2007 at the position of Executive Vice President. He also was a volunteer fireman for the community for twenty-nine years. He loved to hunt and fish. After moving to Branson, A.J. and his wife enjoyed traveling, both in and out of the United States. He was also a member of the Lions Club for over twenty-five years.
A.J. and his wife were both members of the First Baptist Church of Branson, Missouri.
A.J. is survived by his wife, Diane of the home; son, Chris and his wife, Mandy of Amarillo, Texas, and grandson, Byton Sieker and granddaughter, Bethany Sieker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike.
