Anne Louella Amyotte, age 93, of Branson, Missouri
Anne Louella Amyotte, age 93, of Branson, Missouri, passed away peacefully May 11, 2023. She entered this life December 11, 1929, in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of Ellis and Isabelle (McRae) Wilcox.
With a heart of love, grace, and giving, Anne was a volunteer for many organizations and events over the years. She became the Grand Marshall for the West Point, California Lumberjack Days. Anne enjoyed playing cards, and playing Bunco whenever she had the opportunity. She could also be found shopping, cooking, gardening, and collecting. Anne always had advice and was willing to share it. She was a Christian woman and a deacon in the church. Known for hospitality and celebration of holidays, Anne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry M. Amyotte; two daughters: Carol Jean White and Judy Bruns; four brothers: Jack Wilcox, Don Wilcox, Bill Wilcox, and Tom Wilcox; two sisters: Carrol Weston and Mary Jo Savoie; and a grandson, Michael Hussey.
Anne is survived by three daughters: Maryann (Robert) Hussey of Paradise, Michigan, Kathy (dog, Molly) Amyotte of Branson, Missouri, and Heidi Jo (Daniel) Dold of Roseville, California; son-in-law, Joe White; four grandchildren: Joseph (Kassie) White, Ronald White of San Jose, California, Christopher (Brittney) Hussey, and Jennifer White; six great-grandchildren: Benjamin Whitson, Jessica Whitson, Anthony White, Dakota White, Ember Hussey, and Arrow Hussey; two brothers: James “Mac” Wilcox of Juno, Alaska, and David Wilcox or Perrysburg, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
