Anthony Frank “Tony” Gianino, age 66, of Cassville, Missouri.

Anthony Frank “Tony” Gianino, age 66, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 19th, 2022, at his home.

He was born January 26, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri; the son of Sam Frank “Pop” and LaVerna Rosemarie (Pelc) Gianino. On December 31st, 1984 in Springfield, Missouri he was united in marriage to Cheryl Moore, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Dr. Carissa Gianino and her husband, Anthony Scordias and Antonia “Nia” Gianino and her partner, Tai Tinnin, all of St. Louis, Missouri and one sister, Denise LoPiano and her husband, Joe of Kapolei, Hawaii; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Tony grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated from Melville High School. He attended SMSU and received his associates degree, paying his way by waiting tables. He then attended Ozark Technical College in Springfield. For seven years he was employed at Zerco as a tool-and-die maker, and then worked for Regal-Beloit (FASCO) thirty-one years, retiring in 2020. He was of the Catholic faith. Tony was a friend to all and considered family by many close to him. When he knew you were coming to visit, he would be sure to make your favorite meal, and no one who left his house was allowed to leave hungry. He could always be found making something in the kitchen, or working in the yard; that is if he wasn't out fishing! His love of cooking was shared by Nia, his love of fishing was shared by Carissa, and his love of life and all things was shared with his beloved wife Cheryl of 37 years. They loved nothing more than spending time with and exploring their shared passions with him. Not only did he enjoy cooking and fishing, but he also loved gardening, growing grapes to make wine, and raising sheep to tend his vineyard. He even made award-winning beers! Everything he was passionate about he excelled at; from ultimate frisbee, to cooking, to archery, and so much more. He wasn’t always the best at expressing his feelings but he loved so very deeply. Nothing Tony did could light up a room faster and more completely than his laugh. He laughed with everything he had; it seemed to start from his toes and worked its way up.

He was taken too soon and will be missed so much more than can be put into words.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 26th, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Ben Greene and Kensley Monahan will conduct the services.
