Betty “Joyce” Ritter, age 81, of Lampe, Missouri.

Betty “Joyce” Ritter, age 81, of Lampe, Missouri, passed away on January 30, 2025. She entered this world on June 18, 1943, in Pomona, Missouri, the daughter of Warren and Fannie (Click) Williams. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carmen Jones.

Having a love for music, Joyce spent her pastime writing songs and poetry. She enjoyed painting and was an enthusiast of the cinema, sitting down with anyone who would talk about classic films. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and the memories created will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Theron) Coleman of Lampe, Missouri; son, David (Melody) Howerton of Boliver, Missouri; son, J. Kevin Fox of Springfield, Missouri; son, Kristoffer (Jenny) Ritter of Carr Lane, Missouri; and daughter, Heather Udovich of Kansas City, Missouri. Joyce is also survived by her sister, Annetta Hibner of Nixa, Missouri; brother, Bill (Brenda) Williams of Carr Lane, Missouri; sister, Vivian Williams of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Judy Williams of Branson, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two nieces; and four nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, at the James River Church-South, 6100 N. 19th St., Ozark, Missouri with Pastor David Harris officiating.
