Brenton Lawrence “Brenty” Davis

Brenton Lawrence “Brenty” Davis was born on December 20, 1981 to Larry & Gail (Jones) Davis in Branson, MO.

He attended Forsyth schools.  Brenton lived in the Powersite community his entire life.  His was very loved by his family, friends and community.  He was a giving person and his life was a testimony to that quality.  He had been a caregiver for his father till his passing in 2017.  He was always helping his neighbors and friends.  He could fix about anything and was a master at small engine repair.  He liked to trade and barter in exchange for fixing things for people.  Brenton also enjoyed fishing.  His favorite way to spend his time was with his family especially time hanging out with his nephews.

Brenton passed away unexpectedly at his home in Powersite on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 40.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Davis; grandparents, Shinner Jones, Marie Jones Ullery, Lawrence Wolfe and Lizzie Wolfe; an infant sister, Linda Davis and two half siblings, Keith Davis and Janet Ross.

Brenton leaves behind his mother, Gail McNish of Powersite; wife Brandi Davis of Powersite; sister, Shawna Davis (Casey Sturgis) of Springfield; brothers, Korey Franklin (Angelina) of Nixa, David Davis and Timmy McNish both of Powersite; half-brothers, Mark Davis of Forsyth and Jeff Davis (Sabrina) of Des Moines, IA; half-sisters, Klarice Ferguson (Dick) of Jamaica, IA and Nina Davis (Tim) of Dallas, TX; nephews, Henry McNish, Trenton Sturgis, Aiden Sturgis, Kaedrin Franklin; niece Lydia Franklin; aunts, Connie Van Der Ploeg (Harry) and Marilyn Cook (Richard) all of Forsyth along with many cousins and extended family and friends.

A celebration of Brenton’s life will be held at a later date at the Powersite Community Building.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
