Carolyn Kay Boatman, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri

                Carolyn Kay Boatman, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at her home.

            She was born December 15, 1945 in Cassville, Missouri the daughter of James and Lucille (Horner) Nash. On March 26, 1988 in Bakersfield, California she was united in marriage to Tom Boatman, who preceded her in death on February 11, 2022. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

            Surviving are two sons, Kyle Evans of Castaic, California and John Boatman and his wife Deanne of Cassville, Missouri; two daughters, Kimberly K. Evans of Los Gatos, California and Shannon De La Cruz and her husband Rikki of Bakersfield, California; one brother, Ron Nash and his wife Patricia of Los Angeles, California and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Diaz, Reagan Boatman and Matthew Diaz.

            Carolyn attended school in Bakersfield, California graduating from Bakersfield High School. She later attended trade school for secretarial training and afterward began working for Superior Farming Company then Rockwood Retirement Community and lastly for Jack Davenport Sweeping Service Incorporated from where she retired in 2011. After retiring she and Tom moved to Cassville. Carolyn loved to travel, read about England and read about the history of Barry County, Missouri. She enjoyed staying at Roaring River State Park in Cassville and making jewelry.

            Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 5, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial will be at Horner Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

            Contributions may be made to Haven of the Ozarks in memory of Carolyn.
