Charlene Opal Fulton, age 87, of Eagle Rock, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at home.
She was born on January 6, 1934 in Eagle Rock, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Ora (Prier) Ball. On July 14, 1950 at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Fulton, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Oman Ball and two sisters, Eva Jane Ball and Mary Ball.
Surviving are two daughters, Pam Hinson and her husband James of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Jane Divine of Cassville, Missouri and one brother, Arzell Ball and his wife Thelma of Richardson, Texas; six grandchildren, Misty Stover, Heather Brown, Jimmy Hinson, Danielle Still, Tyler Hinson and Kendra Flattem; ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Charlene attended schools in Eagle Rock and Cassville before marrying and starting her family. After working as a waitress at Roaring River Lodge and Crow’s Dinner House she went to Vasi Bristol Shoe Factory, she then purchased and operated a restaurant at Hill Top. She was later employed by Emerson Electric in Rogers, Arkansas, then FASCO Industries in Cassville in the customer service department from where she retired. After retirement she farmed with her husband and later worked in the Mercy Hospital cafeteria. She enjoyed telling stories to friends and family but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she loved spending time in fellowship with her Christian family.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears and Chad Brown will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
