Charles “Chuck” Joseph Pattavina, age 74, of Hollister, Missouri.
Charles “Chuck” Joseph Pattavina, age 74, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away April 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this life October 19, 1949, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Joseph and Lena May (Robarge) Pattavina. He was joined in marriage June 19, 1971, to Betty Marie Zoucha.
Chuck proudly served our country in the National Guard. During his working years, he worked for the Metropolitan Utilities District for forty years. Chuck had many talents such as working on and rebuilding classic cars and playing bass for the combo “The Majestics.” In his later years, Chuck enjoyed listening to the Beatles and other music on the patio of his lake house. He was a Nebraska “Husker” fan, especially during football season. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and an infant grandson, Tyler Bubke.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Betty Pattavina; four children: Kristin (Aaron) Bubke of Texas, Julie (Eric) Claussen of Hollister, Missouri, Brooke (Tony) Beveridge of Texas, and Joseph (Kacie) Pattavina of Nebraska; ten grandchildren: Jade, Jhett, Danica, Taylor, Lucas, Eva, Enzo, Emilia, Sienna, and Leo; five brothers and sisters: Mike (Roxanne) Pattavina of Colorado, Joe (Connie) Pattavina of Nebraska, Janet (Dave) Chalupa of Nebraska, Sam (Rhonda) Pattavina of Nebraska, and Terri Grybko of Nebraska; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 11, 2024, at Reality Church in Omaha, Nebraska, luncheon to follow services. Memorials in memory of Chuck may be made to NCS Hope Foundation, www.ncshopefoundation.org. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
