Charles W. Worster, 89, Forsyth, Missouri

Celebration of life service for Charles W. Worster, 89, Forsyth, will be held Friday, Sept. 6^th 1PM at 1^st Christian Church, Forsyth.  Pastor Jack Holland will officiate.   Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Cedar Creek, Mo.  Mr. Worster entered rest on Monday, Sept. 4 at Magnolia Square Nursing and Rehab in Springfield, Mo. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.

Charles Wayne Worster was born Feb 6, 1937, Keokuk, Iowa. He was the son of Harold and Ruth (Lemme) Worster.  He entered rest on Sept. 4, 2023 in Springfield at the age of 89. Charles married Linda Beeler on Feb 23, 1968, at Forsyth, Mo.   They had celebrated fifty-five years together last winter.  He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ

As a child Charles was able to go to work with his dad who worked for the railroad. Because of his father’s work Charles had a fondness for trains and would go with his dad to different shows and outings displaying trains and would collect train memorabilia. 

Charles was a custodian for many establishments in Forsyth, and mail carrier when needed.  He will be remembered for his love of the softball game.  He played softball whenever he could and he collected all types of baseball and softball collectables.  He also took time to fish when he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ruth Worster.

Charles is survived by his loving wife Linda of the home,  two foster sons Andy & Ted Smith and numerous family and friends.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, evening from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.
