Clara Ann “Clarann” Harrison was born on October 18, 1934 in New Canton, Illinois. She was the daughter of Vernon and Lula (Evans) Bolin. She grew up in Illinois together with a sweet boy, Thomas “Tommy” Harrison. The two had an inseparable bond and were known for their playful, mischievous antics. They got married in Lawrence County, Arkansas on May 2, 1953 before Tommy embarked on his military service. They traveled the world together both while Tommy served in the military and after, to places such as Puerto Rico and Italy as well as living in many places across the United States. They were also able to go on a dream trip together, an African safari, where they had much fun and created many memories They moved to Branson in 1986 from Texas.
Clarann was a devoted wife to Tommy and loving mother to their son Jeffrey. She worked in banking and secured employment with various credit unions at the different duty stations where they were deployed. She also enjoyed time as a sales associate with Dillard’s department stores.
Clarann will be remembered for her warm and caring spirit. She volunteered many hours and years with Skaggs Hospital and helped coordinate their volunteer program. She also had a tender heart for the many cats she loved over the years.
Clarann was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lula Bolin; her husband Thomas Harrison; son, Jeffrey Harrison; half brother, Russell Palmer; and sister Frances Joan Burge.
Clarann will be laid to rest with her husband in Samuel Taylor Cemetery in Rockport, IL.
Cremation services were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
