Clayton Eugene Pearson, age 61, of Cassville, Missouri

         Clayton Eugene Pearson, age 61, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Cassville in Cassville, Missouri.

            He was born May 16, 1962 in Bradford, Arkansas the son of Howard Eugene and Nobia (Covington) Pearson. In 1983 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Lynette Smith, who preceded him in death on June 11, 2001. Also preceding him in death were his father, Howard Pearson and one sister, Judy Pearson.

            Surviving are his mother, Nobia Story and her husband Al Ray of Cedaredge, Colorado; one son, Derek Pearson of Cassville, Missouri; three brothers, Carl Pearson and his wife Denise of Independence, Missouri, Ronald Pearson and his wife Genevieve of Cedaredge, Colorado and Timmy Pearson and his wife Kristen of Cedaredge, Colorado and one sister, Regina Bray and her husband Kevin of Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

            Clayton grew up and attended school in Pea Ridge, Arkansas graduating from Pea Ridge High School. He had been employed by Tyson Foods in Russellville, Arkansas as a supervisor for 20 years. Clayton loved painting, reading and assembling model cars and rockets. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

            Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
